Quality Control
QUALITY IS OUR
CORE STANDARD
Every product batch is tested and verified before shipment. Our quality control system ensures consistent performance across all markets.
01 — Our Edge
THE ZINC COATING
ADVANTAGE
Zinc coating is the primary defense against corrosion in steel building products. The thicker the zinc layer, the longer the product resists rust — especially critical in humid tropical climates and coastal environments.
While the industry standard for light steel keel products is 60–80 g/m², Baoside offers zinc coating up to 120 g/m² — providing approximately twice the corrosion protection life.
Zinc Coating Comparison
Higher zinc coating = longer service life, especially in humid and coastal environments.

02 — QC Process
OUR 6-STEP QUALITY PROCESS
Raw Material Inspection
All incoming steel coils are inspected for base metal thickness, tensile strength, and surface quality before entering production.
Steel coils sourced from certified Chinese mills (Baosteel, HBIS, Shougang). Mill certificates verified for each batch.
Galvanizing Process Control
Zinc coating is applied via continuous hot-dip galvanizing. Bath temperature, zinc purity, and coating weight are monitored in real-time.
Zinc bath maintained at 450°C ±5°C. Zinc purity ≥99.95%. Coating weight measured every 30 minutes during production.
Roll-Forming Precision
Automated roll-forming lines maintain dimensional tolerances within ±0.1mm for consistent profile geometry.
12 production lines with servo-controlled forming. Automatic length cutting with ±1mm accuracy. Profile straightness ≤1mm per meter.
In-Process Sampling
Random samples taken every 2 hours during production for zinc coating weight measurement using magnetic thickness gauges.
Sampling frequency: every 500 meters of production. Results logged and traceable to production batch.
Final Batch Testing
Each production batch undergoes final inspection including dimensional check, zinc coating weight, and visual surface quality assessment.
100% visual inspection. 5% dimensional sampling. Zinc coating test per EN ISO 2178 and ASTM B499.
Packaging & Documentation
Products packed with moisture-resistant wrapping, steel banding, and wooden pallets. Full documentation prepared for export.
Material Test Reports (MTR), packing lists, and certificates of conformance provided with every shipment.
